Dine in: My Final 3 Fried Chicken Fest Meals.

The past weekend marked the end of this year’s Fried Chicken. For my final 3 meals I did dine in for all of them. This is post number six: Here are links to the previous five. La Roca – Mediocre Mexican Meals

La Roca, is a Mexican restaurant located on Smith Street in downtown Winnipeg. It’s the site of what was most recently Gio’s, Winnipeg’s most prominent gay club. Before that there was a restaurant called The Storm, and a couple of others before that. Alycia’s – Royal Albert Arms

Alycia’s is a Ukrainian-Canadian restaurant that has been wandering in search of a home for the last few years. Opened in Winnipeg’s North End in 1971 by Marion Staff. It closed in 2011 shortly after Staff’s death. It reopened in Gimli in 2016, run by Staff’s grandson, Aaron Blanchard.
