I decided to check out the Celtic-Ireland Pavilion on Archibald. Celtic-Ireland Food Since I was going to only one pavilion, I decide to go whole hog on the food. I ordered two of the combination plates. The first one, which is a full meal is the banger platter.…Continue readingCeltic-Ireland Pavilion Folklorama

Ethiopian, German Pavilions Folklorama

Two days ago I visited the Cuban and Portugal pavilions. As regular readers of Dining with Donald know, I travel almost exclusively by foot or by bus. Monday, I managed to make my visits on foot. Yesterday, I hopped the bus up Main Street to take in the pavilions of Ethiopia and Germany. I started with the Ethiopian one. Ethiopian Food Ethiopian food is one of my favourite cuisines. Winnipeg is fortunate to…Continue readingEthiopian, German Pavilions Folklorama
