Last week I visited Mikky’s food truck on Broadway. As the week came to a close I paid a couple of visits to Sis & Me. In many ways these two trucks are quite similar, in that their menus are a variation and expansion on the typical menu of the hot dog cart.
However, Sis & Me has adopted current social media practices and has a website, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Sis & Me also attempts to make their menu as healthy as possible. Perhaps Mikky’s does as well, but Sis & Me provides a measure of nutritional information on their website that tells me a little more about what I am getting. So, on to the review.
Value:
Sis & Me scores very well on value. They have a wide variety of combos available ranging from $5.50 to $9.00. Their drinks are a $1.25 for a can of pop, which makes them one of the lowest priced on Broadway. 4.5/5

Selection:
The menu board above represent only half of the menu for Sis & Me. They have another two boards that list all the combinations that are available. Unless you are looking for salad, there is something here to satisfy almost every taste. 5/5
Quality:
I found the quality here to be good in the overall. The perogies I had were fried a wonderful golden brown. The burger was char broiled and . The poutine came with a gravy that was dark brown, and fries that were crispy, but loses points for having shaved cheese rather than curds. 4/5
Portability:
Portability is a bit of a let down. I had a burger and the poutine one day, and the burger comes wrapped in foil, while the poutine comes in a styrofoam container, making it difficult to eat and walk. Fortunately they are located by the picnic tables of the Law Courts building. 3/5
Service:
The service was prompt and friendly. Both times I went it was off peak lunch hours, so I can’t say what the service would be like during the lunch rush. 4.5/5
Sis & Me Overall:
This is a great place to stop and deal with your lunch hour hunger. It’s good value, great selection and you will leave satisfied 4.5/5
