Over at Felix Hominum, Joseph has an interesting post on home repair. The post and the ensuing discussion got me thinking. What sort of things should seminaries add to their list of courses that currently aren’t taught. One thing that stands out for me are courses on money. Not simply the priest’s own finances, but also things such as capital budgets and capital projects, fundraising and fundraising ethics, etc.
Perhaps a course on time management somewhere along the line.
I’d be interested in getting other peoples thoughts on the matter, and you don’t have to come at it from a clergy perspective.
