Of ipods and used computers

I just recently bought myself a new, used computer. The laptop that I had used for several years broke down about 14 months ago. For a while I used an old windows system and then briefly tried an old mac system. Neither of these were able to run my ipod. So just the other day I went out and bought myself a 1ghz, 256mb, 20gig hard drive IBM for a hundred bucks. It does everything well, except for the fact that it won’t accept my ipod, and seems to have destroyed the software in it completely. It seems that for the gains in life there often come losses in the same package.
